About:

My name is Nusrat Chowdhury. I am a first year student in Hunter College. Prior attending Hunter College, I become involved in Science Research program at Harlem Children Society. As a participant of this program, I was blessed with the opportunity to work in an intriguing projecting called “Can Finger Length and Height be an Indicator of One’s Aggressive personality? This project provided me with a chance to work with a wonderful person like Dr. Mohammeen. As his internee, I learned all the curriculum of scientific Investigation.

Since I am a pre –med student in Hunter College, my goal is to obtain a bachelor’s degree, and attend a prestigious medical school. The Harlem Children Society will take me a step closer to achieve my dream. Through the summer seminar and lectures of Dr. Sat, other prominent scientists and students, I discovered fascinating phenomena about medical studies. The program has not only enhanced my understanding of medical background but also it has increased my curiosity to solve all those unknown scientific puzzles that has not been unfolded yet. The knowledge I gained through this program will be a great asset to my experience. I would recommend this program to anyone who is interested in science because I believe this program is the root of success in scientific investigation.
