About:
My research topic was "Obesity and the Genetic factor in Obesity". It was very interesting, I can say that I am walking away from this summer with a lot more knowledge. In the program we had many HCS talks, which were very useful. In the Lectures we would have students present their topic in a PowerPoint presentation, this helped because I was able to learn from their presentations. Another great thing about the HCS talks was that there were guest speakers who would tell us about themselves and what they do. Some of the speakers’ careers were, Bankers, Entrepreneurs, Professors and others.
This was a great experience for me because I was able to meet many professionals and they taught me valuable information. It was also a great experience because I was able to meet top students from many different schools. I would observe and learn about them as well.
